Soothing Digital is Stephen Cahill's South Carolina based design and marketing studio. My goal is to craft meaningful and effective design and marketing plans for my clients and their audience. I grew up in New Jersey, the state known for the “Sopranos”, great delis, strong accents, and the Jersey shore.
I started down the college path with an Associates degree in Graphic Design. After graduating the Art Institute I continued on working on my Bachelor’s degree. I spent a short time in Heinz’s packaging division and eventually working for a Brady Communications as a junior designer while finishing up my degree. After completing my degree I obtained an exhibit designer position at Skyline Exhibits of Pittsburgh. Shortly after I was offered the opportunity to relocate to the Connecticut office. I spent a few years working for exhibit houses designing exhibits and graphics in Connecticut. Then an opportunity came along to work for a major nutritional supplement company where I worked as a lead designer, eventually being promoted to Director of Marketing.
After 11 years in Connecticut, my family decided to leave the Nutmeg state (and winter weather) behind and move to South Carolina. We love it here, and we’re so glad able to put down roots in such a great area.
Now fresh in the Palmetto state, I’m taking on clients as an independent designer and marketing consultant.
